The Fond du Lac Kennel Club offers training classes for the general public. These classes are available for purebred as well as mixed breed dogs. People train their dogs for a variety of reasons....to make them better companions, to teach basic manners for a better-behaved household member, some just want to have a little fun with their dogs and some want to take their dog to a different level and train for organized AKC competition events (Obedience, Rally, Agility or Conformation). The Fond du Lac Kennel Club can help you achieve whatever your goal is in training your dog.
Our instructors will work with you to teach your dog the correct behavior. We use positive reinforcement using both treats and corrections (not punishment). Teaching your dog manners and acceptable behaviors make your dog a much more pleasant companion for you and your family.
"Dogs love to be trained" and that training strengthens the bond between you and your companion.
